Occidental Cozumel - All Inclusive

The place is big and accommodates all types of vacation styles: more quiet or more active ones. I liked that you need to walk a certain distance to reach different facilities of the resort. The dive center at the resort is very skilled and works efficiently. I booked my dives in advance with them but, once on site, everything was quick and clear.

It's a relatively small resort, which means not as crowded as those large ones. The staff are every friendly and courteous. The eco-environment is very natural, isolated, and quiet. We also enjoy its proximity to other attractions in Cozumel on the south and east coast.

We loved the location, the sand beach, the staff at the buffets were outstanding - courteous and very welcoming. The rooms were big and although some maintenance would not hurt, they were totally acceptable. The beds were comfortable, loved the bathtub, the water pressure was good and we did not have issues with water temperature (our rooms were in the ground floor). We also enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi - I wish those could be booked for longer than 30 minutes a day. The coatis were the absolute hit with the kids. A special shout out to Teo at the tour booking. He went above and beyond to make sure our trip was happening after the tour company screwed up. Looking forward to come again!

Easy access to the docks for pickup for diving. Being able to grab a bite to eat almost anytime of the day. Service and cleanliness was exceptional. Staff was awesome at answering questions and helping. Easy check in and check out. Not too far from town but remote enough to get away from it all. Nice having drinks by the pool. Awesome to have drinks by the pool on the beach and be able to watch sunsets.

Breakfast was great.
